Yoga Stretches to Relieve Back Pain

Cat-Cow Stretch The Cat-Cow stretch is an excellent way to warm up your spine and improve its flexibility. Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position. As you inhale, drop your belly towards the mat and lift your head and tailbone towards the sky, entering the Cow position. As you exhale, arch your back towards the ceiling and tuck your chin to your chest, assuming the Cat position. Repeat this flow for 1-2 minutes, synchronizing your breath with the movement.
